Frequently asked questions

Getting started

What is Beemy?

A contextually-aware AI assistant that triages your email and drafts replies in your voice today, with news digests and recurring reports next — while keeping your work and personal life in separate silos. The super-organized version of you. See how it works.

Do I have to install anything to start?

No. You connect Gmail (Google Calendar comes with it) and Beemy starts read-only — watching how you work before it ever acts. A dedicated mobile companion and browser extension are rolling out; everything starts from the accounts you already have. Full breakdown on integrations.

How long before Beemy is actually useful — do I have to wait a week?

No. You get a quiet, triaged inbox within your first few minutes, and a first draft in your voice to approve that same session. There's no learning-period waiting room. See how it works.

Which tools does Beemy work with today?

Gmail and Google Calendar are live in beta — the first trusted-inbox loop. Outlook/Microsoft 365, Slack, Google Docs, RSS, Reddit, newsletters, a mobile companion and a browser extension are rolling out, each as it clears its own safety gate. Full list on integrations.

Privacy & data

Is my data used to train AI?

No. Beemy never uses your data to train shared models. What it learns is used only to serve you, and stays inside your own silo. Full picture on our Trust & Security page.

How is my data stored and protected?

Encrypted in transit with TLS 1.3 and at rest with AES-256 — the standard banks use — in strictly separated personal/work silos, never sold. More on Trust & Security.

What happens to my data if I cancel or delete my account?

Everything goes with it — account, data, drafts, history. Ask us to delete and it's gone completely.

Does Beemy read everything in my inbox?

It starts read-only, so it can triage and learn your voice, but it can't send, reply or change anything until you allow it — surface by surface, category by category. See how it works.

Work & personal, kept apart

How does Beemy keep my work and personal life separate?

Personal, work and public knowledge live in strictly separated stores — architecture, not a privacy toggle. A work reply can't surface your personal life, or vice versa, because there's no path between them. Full picture on Trust & Security.

I have separate work and personal email accounts — can Beemy handle both?

Yes — that's the design case. Connect both; each lives in its own silo. Beemy will never reference your personal life in a work reply, or the reverse.

On a team plan, can an admin read my personal inbox?

No. Admins manage seats, policy and team-level audit metadata; there is no path from an admin into a member's personal silo. True by construction, not by promise. More in Enterprise & Platform.

Control & autonomy

Will Beemy send email without my approval?

Not until you explicitly allow it, and even then only for the categories you choose (say, meeting confirmations). Everything else waits in your drafts for a one-tap review.

What does "replies in my voice" mean, and can I edit them?

Beemy studies how you've written to each person — formality, length, sign-offs, even emoji habits — and drafts accordingly. You review and edit every draft until you tell it otherwise, and each edit teaches it.

What happens when Beemy isn't sure what to do?

It escalates to you — never around you — with a plain-language "why this reached you." The goal isn't zero interruptions; it's the right ones.

Can I change how much Beemy does on its own?

Yes. Autonomy is a dial you control, category by category and surface by surface — turned up as trust is earned, never inherited from one channel to another. See how it works.

Plans & pricing

Is there a free plan?

Yes — 50 triaged emails a month and one knowledge silo, free forever. Full plan breakdown on pricing.

How much does Beemy cost?

Free to start; Individual is $29/month ($290/year — two months free); Team is $49/user/month; Enterprise is custom. Details on pricing.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are month-to-month; cancel whenever you like and you keep access through the period you've paid for.

Is there an annual discount?

Yes — pay yearly and get two months free ($290/year for Individual). Team and Enterprise annual pricing is set when you talk to us. See pricing.

Product & roadmap

Does Beemy work on mobile?

A dedicated mobile companion is rolling out. Today Beemy works through the tools you already use, so a triaged inbox and approved drafts show up wherever you read your email. See integrations and the roadmap.

Is there an API I can build on?

No public API is live yet. The model it will ship on is specified: a credential scoped to a single silo, routed through the same policy engine the app uses, unable to grant itself more autonomy than you've handed it. More in Enterprise & Platform.

How is Beemy different from a general AI assistant like ChatGPT?

Beemy works in the background across your real tools, maps the people and projects in your life, keeps work and personal in separate silos, and drafts in your voice — a proactive assistant, not a chat window you visit. See the full comparison on Beemy vs. a general assistant.
