Why Beemy exists
Not a mission statement written for a pitch deck. These are the actual beliefs behind an assistant that's going to touch your inbox, your calendar, and eventually your whole life.

The belief
Your time is being eaten by busywork you never agreed to.
Triage, drafting, chasing follow-ups, compiling the same report every month: none of it is the work you actually wanted to do. All of it is repetitive enough that it shouldn't need a person doing it by hand. Beemy exists to take that busywork back, quietly, so what's left is the part only you can do. Think of it as the super-organised version of you: the one who never lets the inbox win.
One assistant, not two
Your life isn't split in two, so your assistant can't be either.
A genuinely useful assistant has to see across work and personal life. The context that makes a reply, a triage decision or a reminder actually good lives on both sides. Who you are to the person emailing you stays the same after 6pm. That's why Beemy is one assistant instead of two separate tools. It's also exactly why the two halves are kept in strict silos: seeing across both doesn't mean blending them. What the personal half of that promise actually looks like, job by job, is at Life admin.

What Beemy is built on.
Silos by architecture, not a toggle
Personal, work and public knowledge live in physically separate stores. There's no shared memory with a privacy setting on top that could be misconfigured. No path exists between them to leak across.
Escalate ambiguity, never guess
Anything unclear or high-stakes goes to you, with a plain-language reason it reached you. Guessing on things that matter isn't intelligence, it's a liability with good PR.
Your data is yours
Never sold, never used to train shared models, and deleted completely the moment you ask. What Beemy learns about you stays with you.
Quiet by default
The goal isn't the most notifications, it's the fewest that still matter. Beemy interrupts you only when something genuinely needs your judgement.
Content and humans over gimmicks
No tacky bolted-on chatbot. We'd rather ship a real capability quietly than a demo-able one loudly. Every message you send us also gets a human reply.
The other side of the ledger
What Beemy will never do.
- Never treat ambiguity as an excuse to guess instead of asking you.
- Never bolt on a chatbot gimmick to look impressive instead of being useful.
- Never let a work context see into your personal life, or the reverse.
- Never expand what Beemy can do on its own without you turning that dial yourself.
- Never optimise for engagement over your actual time back.

Where we are today
Honestly: early, and building in the open.
Beemy is in private beta. The first loop, Gmail and Google Calendar, is live and read-only-to-approve-first. More integrations are rolling out as each clears its own safety gate. There's no team page or funding announcement here, because there's nothing to say yet that would be honest. What you can read is The Hive.
