When to use this
Something will land later than promised. The longer you wait to say so, the worse the talk gets. Do not explain at length. A long reason sounds like an excuse. Lead with the new date.

Why this works
- It leads with the new date in the first sentence, before any reason.
- It states the change as a decision already made, not a question that asks permission.
- It offers to talk through downstream effects. It does not pretend there are none.
- It keeps the reason to one line, so the message reads as a status update and not an apology.
